DESCRIPTION:The Latter Rain Media Ministry is putting on a Musical Stage Play entitled “The Family Matters”. This family friendly show is about the importance of family\, faith and community. The play addresses prominent issues such as Mental Health/ Addiction\, Cultural Awareness\, Non-traditional family structure\, and the value of community support services and asking for help. \nThese story lines will be performed by some of the most talented actors/actresses and musicians in the State of Ohio.  Our production will present these relevant social issues through theatrical arts with great singing\, music\, soul stirring moments and plenty of laughs designed to give our audience an experience that they will enjoy during and well after the show. \nDoors open at 6:15pm – Show begins at 7:00pm \nThis show is sponsored by The Richland Mental Health & Recovery Services Board \nTickets Available at TheFamilyMatters.net

DESCRIPTION:NAMI Family to Family classes are every Thursday for 8 weeks beginning March 3rd – April 21st\, 6:00-8:30pm. \nNAMI Family-to-Family is a free\, 8-session education program for family\, friends and significant others of adults with mental health conditions. NAMI Family-to-Family provides information about anxiety\, depressive disorders\, schizophrenia\, bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions. Other topics covered include communication\, problem solving\, treatment and recovery. \nThe course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while helping participants maintain their own well-being. The program is taught by trained family members who have a loved one with a mental health condition. NAMI Family-to-Family is an evidence-based program (EB).
